Professional Recognition
Law is increasingly regarded as an excellent foundation for a wide range of careers in politics, business, teaching, public service, industrial relations and international relations, just to name a few.
Our Jurisprudence programs provide a broad base of legal skills and knowledge in conjunction with your choice of humanities disciplines, thereby opening up an exciting choice of challenging and rewarding career possibilities.
Further Study
In addition to offering a postgraduate pathway to the Masters of Jurisprudence, Bachelor of Jurisprudence graduates may complete a further 16 law subjects to qualify for professional legal practice with a Bachelor of Laws.
Professional Recognition
Unlike the Bachelor of Laws degree, the Bachelor of Jurisprudence does not provide a qualification for the professional practise of law. Prospective students wishing to practise law should confirm admission requirements in the particular jurisdiction in which they wish to practise.
Career Planning
Your Faculty Advisor and individual professors can help you arrange industry-based internships and work placements through their network of contacts. The on-campus Career Development Centre offers an additional source of key employer contacts and online job listings on the Career Hub web portal.
