Global Connections

International Perspective

The international perspective of Bond’s Law program has attracted students from all over the world. Australia’s legal system is based on England’s Common Law model. As such, several other countries with Common Law systems recognise Australian law degrees as satisfying all or part of the academic requirements for professional admission. These include New Zealand, Hong Kong, Fiji, East Malaysia, Botswana, Canada and some American states. In India, Brunei and West Malaysia, Bond’s Bachelor of Laws is one of a limited number of Australian degrees which are specifically recognised.

Refer to Bond Law's country specific information.

Globally Experienced Academics

Benefit from our experienced teaching faculty whose high level academic qualifications are in many cases backed by years of consulting and practising with major law firms. A number of our teaching professionals also serve on key State and Federal tribunals, boards and professional bodies.

Worldwide Alumni Network

As a Bond graduate, you’ll become an instant member of our active alumni network, including fellow Bondies now working for legal firms, multinational corporations and government agencies in many different countries – all of whom are more than willing to open doors for graduates from their alma mater. Bond Law graduates are scattered from Canada to the UK where they have forged exciting careers in all aspects of legal practice from in-house legal consultants to private practitioners in top tier law firms.

Multicultural Learning Environment

Bond University has a distinctly global perspective, with an international student body representing over 80 countries.

Eligible students can apply to study for a semester at 59 leading universities in 19 countries through Bond’s International Exchange Program. Similarly, overseas students can expand their global experience by studying Law subjects at Bond for a semester and undertaking practical work experience with Australian legal firms.

Campus Clubs & Societies

Expand your international network on campus through the active social and special interest clubs that reflect the international make-up of the Bond community. Our Student Associations, including the Asian Law Students Society, Canadian Law Students Association and the Law Students Association, represent the interests and views of bond Law students. They encourage and will facilitate social, intellectual ad competitive exchange and enhance staff-student interaction through a range of academic and social events.
