Industry Accreditation

Graduates will be professionally recognised by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The Australian Property Institute (API) also recognises graduates of the Property Valuation, Urban Development and Sustainability, and Events and Facilities Management specialisations. The API accreditation allows Property Valuation students to apply for registration as Certified Practicing Valuers upon graduating (conditional upon meeting professional practice requirements).

The Valuers Registration Board endorses the Property Valuation specialisation within this degree.  Additionally, graduates of the Construction Management and Quantity Surveying specialisation will be professionally recognised by the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS).

Career Planning

The Mirvac School of Sustainable Development offers the services of an Industry and Student Placement Officer who is dedicated to assisting students add value to their study by undertaking an internship or work experience placement. Your Faculty Advisor and individual professors can help you arrange industry-based internships and work placements through their network of contacts. The on-campus Career Development Centre offers an additional source of key employer contacts and online job listings on the Career Hub web portal.
