Career Pathways
Bond’s Counselling programs qualify students for employment as general or specialist counsellors working in hospitals, government departments (e.g. child protection), specialist intervention programs (e.g. drug rehabilitation), social welfare agencies, independent schools and as private consultants. Graduates are also suited for careers in the mental health field, guidance officers and welfare workers. The program would also assist teachers who are interested in developing expertise in the area of counselling.
Further Study
Bond offers a Postgraduate Diploma of Counselling, suitable for graduates of the Bachelor of Counselling degree who wish to continue their studies or for graduates from other disciplines (e.g. teaching) who are interested in developing expertise in the area of counselling. Specialisations in counselling can also be taken as part of Master of Arts and PhD level studies.
