Internships and work placements are available with permission from the Institute.
Professional Recognition
Students who complete the full Master of Urban Planning will be recognised by the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) as well as receiving international accreditation by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Professional Outcomes
The urban design and sustainability focus of this degree is geared towards one of the most rapidly developing areas of planning practice. There are opportunities for planners in: state and local government, including integrated transport planning, affordable housing strategy development, regional planning and various aspects of urban design; planning and urban design consultancies; and property development and community organisations.
