Graduate Diploma in Energy Management

The program is built on scientific rigor and professional practice to provide a unique, interdisciplinary training in energy management.

The Graduate Diploma in Energy Management covers various subject areas including energy conservation and utilisation, economics, environmental management and climate change, project management and project finance, and risk and uncertainty. Students can continue their studies in this discipline by transferring all subjects passed into the Master of Energy Management.

Work Experience

Students are encouraged to seek work experience in the Energy Management industry to maximise opportunities for career progression after completion of their studies at Bond University. An Industry Placements Officer is available to assist with finding suitable work experience.

Professional Outcomes

The Graduate Diploma equips graduates with many of the required skills necessary to become the next generation of energy leaders, managers and decision makers with insight and knowledge to address the challenges in energy management that face us today and into the future.

On completion of the Graduate Diploma in Energy Management graduates will have a good understanding of business engineering practice as it relates to energy management. They will have acquired skills to incorporate the broad context of energy management into future economic case studies that will be necessary under the paradigm of sustainable development (in various industries such as minerals, oil and gas, water, waste, and power generation).
