Structure & Subjects
Subjects for the Master of Energy Management (MEM) have been selected from the suite of programs offered by both Bond University’s Institute of Sustainable Development & Architecture, and the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College (USA).
The MEM consists of a total of 10 subjects and one capstone project (120 credit points):
- Five Bond University subjects
- Three or more Thayer School of Engineering subjects
- One or two Electives (Bond University)
- Capstone Project (20CP)
Delivery*
The course will be delivered through a combination of on-site lecturing (at Bond University) and online interaction with students and monitoring of students work.
* In addition to online instruction, Thayer faculty will travel to Bond at arranged times for a one or two week period to deliver Thayer faculty subjects at Bond.
Institute of Sustainable Development & Architecture subjects:
In addition to the above subjects, you are required to complete the following:
- One or two Electives (Bond University)
- Capstone Project (20 credit points)

Study Load
International Students
To fulfil your student visa requirements, you will need to enrol in 40 credit points per semester.
Domestic Students
You have the option of taking any number of subjects to a maximum of 4 per semester.

Bond University’s teaching methodology involves a combination of lectures, tutorials, seminars, examinations, projects, presentations, assignments, computer labs and industry projects.
