Description
The Master of Retrieval Medicine is part of the suite of courses in a new program dedicated to the unique specialty of retrieval medicine. The Masters program has a research component building on the Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma Retrieval Medicine courses. It aims to produce high quality graduates who can apply their advanced knowledge and skills to the implementation of a research project and make a significant contribution to the field of knowledge within the retrieval medicine environment.
The Masters program is designed for health practitioners, particularly medical practitioners, nurses and paramedics already working in the field. The program is structured to accommodate health practitioners with minimum interruption to work commitments and is undertaken under supervision within their retrieval medicine workplace.
The retrieval medicine program is delivered as a partnership of Bond University and the Royal Flying Doctor Service, the world’s largest aeromedical provider, and focuses on current and future retrieval systems and evidence based approaches within the Australian and international context.
Professional Outcomes
The Master of Retrieval Medicine is intended to equip health professionals with the advanced practical skills and theoretical knowledge to be well positioned to further their careers in retrieval medicine.
