Terms and Conditions of the RSL Youth Development ProgramBelow we have listed the current Terms and Conditions for the program. You may also wish to download a copy of the Terms and Conditions. When making an application to the RSL Youth Development Program, you will be asked to accept the following: - Applicants for the RSL YDP must either currently be studying in year 10 or year 11.
- Applicants must either a) be currently residing in QLD or b) be attending a school located in Queensland to be eligible for the RSL YDP.
- RSL QLD and Bond University have the right to release all RSL YDP winners’ names and details to Media Representatives, to schools and on the RSL YDP website for marketing purposes. As a recipient of the YDP Program students are required to provide information required to promote the program. This includes the completion of surveys and a publicity consent form.
- RSL QLD and Bond University have the right to release winner’s details to their local RSL Sub Branch.
- Students that apply whilst in studying in year 10 may also apply the following year whilst studying in year 11.
- The RSL YDP Selection Committees decisions on which students receive the grants are final, and no applications will be reconsidered.
- All applications for the RSL YDP will be assessed using a selection criteria determined by the selection panel.
- Students applying for the RSL YDP must acknowledge that it is a competition, and not all applicants will be awarded with a grant.
- Winners of the RSL YDP are expected to attend the Leadership Forum held at Bond University the following year after being awarded with a grant.
- Successful year 10 and 11 applicants will be awarded either $2500 or $5000 to put toward their chosen project. RSL QLD and Bond University will determine the dollar amount that each recipient will receive.
- Grants must be utilised for projects that occur in the following year of being awarded, and cannot be used for projects that have already occurred. For example, a year 10 student applying for a grant in 2012, can only nominate a project that will be paid for in 2013.
