Tuition & Funding

Bond exchange students continue to pay their tuition fees to Bond. This means that if you study four subjects at your exchange institution then you will pay for four subjects worth of tuition to Bond. Any tuition fees at the exchange institution will be waived. All other costs such as accommodation, health cover and activities fees will be paid directly to the exchange institution.

Exchange Grant

All students who are accepted into the Exchange Program are eligible for an Exchange Grant of AUD $2000. This grant is funded by the Office of Admissions and is intended to assist students with additional expenditure associated with overseas travel. Please note, this grant will not be provided to students who recieve any other form of grant money to go on exchange.

Exchange Grant Conditions

• Students must complete the pre-departure form
• Students must write a 3 page report about their exchange experience
• and attend the pre-departure session

Government Funding

The department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) administers programs that provide funding to Australian Citizens travelling to different regions in the world. Bond University applies to DEEWR each year for funding to countries of our choice. The exchange department will promote funding amounts and destinations that are available for that particular year/semester at our Information Session. Students DO NOT need to apply for this funding, as the decision of who will receive this funding is at the descretion of the Manger, Study Abroad & Exchange.

Students MUST be Australian Citizens to receive this funding.

Scholarships

If you are currently on a scholarship to Bond University this will still apply towards your tuition for your exchange semester.
