Structure & Subjects

The Student for a Semester program offers a range of subjects from Bond University’s Business, Humanities & Social Sciences, Law and Health Science and Medicine faculties. You can view the list of subjects available in our May 2013 semester here - May 2013 Student for a Semester subjects.

The full timetable schedule will be available in the coming weeks prior to the application opening date of Friday, July 12th. Please note: these subjects and times cannot be guaranteed every semester. Students enrolling in subjects that fall within normal school hours should liaise with their parents and school before applying.

Subject Requirements and Assessment

Students will be required to attend one lecture and one tutorial every week, depending on the specific subject requirements. There are no mid-semester breaks or holidays during this period and students must attend all of their lectures and tutorials during the semester. Students will also be required to complete all set assessment tasks for the subject. These may include assignments, essays, quizzes, presentations and exams.

Subsequent Subjects

Students who have successfully completed one Student for a Semester subject at Bond University may apply to undertake a second subject. A new application form will need to be submitted along with a recent school report. Subsequent subject applications will be sent directly to the appropriate faculty for approval.

NOTE: Please be aware that tutorial times are subject to change.
