Visa Requirements Once you have formally accepted your offer by returning your 'Response to Offer' form and have paid the fees for the first semester, you will be electronically sent a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). At this stage you will be able to commence your Australian Student Visa Application. To find out more about applying for an Australian Student Visa, visit the Australian Government Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affair's website. Students should be aware that some countries can take longer than others to process student visas. It is the students' responsibility to allow enough time for this process to be completed. Students interested in working whilst in Australia will need to apply for a working visa. Once you have arrived in Australia, you can apply for a visa which will allow you to work for up to 20 hours per week. If you intend to travel after your Study Abroad semester, you will need to obtain a travel visa at the completion of the semester. All of the necessary forms are available on-campus at Student Administration. Health CoverAll international students (with the exception of students from Norway and Sweden as their government provides alternative health insurance), must be covered by Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) as a condition of your student visa. OSHC assists with the cost of fees for doctors, private specialists, surgeons, hospital, emergency ambulance transport and some other medical services. The OSHC must be paid prior to your visa being issued and be for the entire length of your student visa. The OSHC is provided through Worldcare and organised by Bond University's Study Abroad office.
