MBBS Compliance – Essential Immunisations and Forms
As students will be placed in both Queensland and New South Wales health facilities, it is essential they meet the minimum compliance requirements in both states. It is your responsibility to ensure that you can provide evidence of all requirements prior to commencement of the MBBS program. All forms and documentation required for student compliance can be found here.
Students in this program who are unable to provide documentary evidence of compliance or who have not otherwise met the requirements by specified deadlines will be ineligible to attend placement. This will result in the delay and possible exclusion from clinical placement and/or the MBBS program.
Bond University Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine, Queensland Health, and NSW Health do not honour conscientious objection with regard to vaccination. Students who are vaccine "non-responders" (HBsAb <10 mIU/mL after an initial course of vaccination) or those with medical contraindications to vaccination should consult with an Infectious Disease Physician to discuss risks and options prior to undertaking Placement.
All successful applicants will be required to submit both Section 2 and Section 3 in their entirety to the Compliance Officer during Orientation Week from 6th – 10th May, 2013. Successful applicants will be emailed in late April 2013 with the specific time and location of this meeting.
