Bachelor of Property

Duration: 2 years (6 semesters) full time. Flexible part-time study is available to domestic students.
Starting: January, May, September

Description

Bond University’s Bachelor of Property is designed to equip you with a strong knowledge base and advanced technical skills for careers within property related industries and professions. In addition, there is the opportunity to choose to pursue, in-depth, the discipline of property valuation. The final semester is highlighted by an industry based capstone project which integrates the full range of topics covered during the degree. The Bachelor of Property will give you access to a wide range of career paths in property related fields such as valuation, property development, development management, project management, investment, finance, property management and property research. The attributes gained from the degree will allow you to work in the real property sector in Australia and around the world.

Work Experience

Work placements are encouraged. They provide students with the opportunity to apply skills and knowledge learnt while studying and maximise opportunities for career progression after they complete their studies.

Professional Recognition

Students graduating with this degree are internationally recognised by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Accreditation is pending with the Australian Property Institute (API).

Professional Outcomes

You will be provided with the opportunity to demonstrate well-developed cognitive, technical and communication skills to select and apply methods and technologies relevant to professional practice in the field of property. This will include the ability to analyse and evaluate information across a range of activities; analyse, generate and transmit solutions to unpredictable and sometimes complex property related problems and to transmit to others your knowledge, skills and ideas across a range of property areas.
