Description

The Diploma of Business offers a broad foundation for a range of career opportunities in the corporate sphere. Subjects include an introduction to accounting, economics, marketing and organisational behaviour as well as core skills such as communication and entrepreneurship.

The Diploma of Business will teach students core skills to enhance their career prospects, whether that be a student fresh out of school or someone wishing to upgrade their qualifications. Some core skills covered include; managing teams, leadership, communicating in groups, conflict resolution, problem solving, individual and group decision making, information management, the use of different network technologies, and an understanding of Ethics, morals and cultural beliefs.
Successful completion of the Diploma of Business will provide students with either a pathway to Bond University undergraduate degrees or to start their career in a broad range of opportunities in business, management, marketing and advertising, market research or information management.

The Diploma Program is offered as flexible or part-time study open to domestic students only (as of 13th May 2013).  

Further Study

Successful completion of the Diploma of Business guarantees students a place in the Bachelor of Business with 8 subjects credited to the degree, and shortens the duration of bachelor study by two semesters.
Entry into other degrees is with credit as follows:

• Bachelor of Commerce (up to 8 credits)
• Bachelor Communications (Business)(up to 8 credits))
• Bachelor Communication (up to 8 credits)

The Diploma of Business is also a pathway into the Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Business Law, Bachelor of Property, Bachelor of Urban Design and Planning, Bachelor of Environmental Mangagement, and Bachelor of Environmental Science.
