Program description

The Postgraduate Diploma in Property Valuation further develops the tools required to become a Property Valuer. Given the professional focus of the property valuation course, it incorporates extensive industry liaison through scenario and problem-based learning, practical assignments and numerous field and office-centred learning activities. For those with recognised first degrees, this Postgraduate Diploma enables valuer registration after a period of professional employment.

Entry requirements

Successful completion of an undergraduate degree in a built environment related field; or qualifications and/or extensive relevant professional experience deemed equivalent by the Faculty Dean.

Enrolment

International Students: To fulfil your student visa requirements, you’ll need to enrol in 40cp per semester.
Domestic Students: You have the option of undertaking either 30 or 40cp per semester.

Bond’s teaching methodology involves a combination of lectures, tutorials, seminars, examinations, projects, presentations, assignments, computer labs and industry projects.

Professional outcomes

Students will be constantly exposed to the essential personal skills of problem-solving, ethical behaviour and practices, social responsibility and sustainability during their courses. Graduates will thus be equipped with all the necessary professional and technical competencies to operate as effective leaders in the industry.

Professional Recognition

Graduates of this program will be professionally recognised by the Australian Property Institute (API). The API accreditation also allows students to apply for registration as Certified Practising Valuers upon graduating, (conditional on meeting professional practice requirements).
