Course Overview

The Master of Science by Research allows suitably qualified students to undertake supervised research studies in a selected and approved aspect of Health Sciences. Prior to formal application, intending applicants need to give consideration to the specific research topic they wish to investigate (view sample research topics). This should be determined in consultation with a Faculty academic staff member who will be the candidate’s primary supervisor.  The Dean will advise Academic Senate whether an appropriate supervisor is available and whether the candidate if qualified to undertake the project.

The Master of Science by Research (Health Sciences) provides graduates with scientific research expertise, as well as managerial and leadership skills, to prepare them for academic and executive careers in the health and pharmaceutical industries and related fields.
