Course Overview

This program is a generalist degree that allows students to undertake studies across the various specialist areas such as Chemistry, Physiology, Cell Biology, Anatomy, Anthropology and Children’s Services. The degree allows a wider range of subjects to be undertaken and is an excellent option for students who wish to explore a broad range of health science disciplines.

Work Experience & Internships

Some students without practical workplace experience, or with workplace experience in a field different from their studies, choose to undertake an internship as part of their degree. This intensely practical professional development approach fosters graduates who are ready, willing and able to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact in the workplace.

Eligible Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine students have access to the Bond University Smart State Undergraduate Internships Program.

Career Outcomes

Graduate outcomes will depend on majors chosen, however graduates will be ideally positioned to undertake postgraduate studies in an area of specialisation or seek graduate employment in their area of specialisation.

COMBINED DEGREES / FURTHER STUDY

To increase the range of career outcomes available many students complete a dual degree or postgraduate study. Popular choices for Bachelor of Health Sciences students include:
