Program Structure

Foundation

This program must include:

  • The 120 credit points from the MCA equates to half the required 240 credit points of the DCA. The DCA will require a further 7 project subjects including Development and Research Methodology subjects.

Production component

60-minute documentary or short feature, or a 120 min feature script.

Exegesis component

Dissertation of 30,000 words devoted to the research and clarification of the production element with regards to history, production, or contemporary practice. This reflective work will demonstrate appropriate levels of discipline, organisation and critical depth.
