The Master of Laws (Legal Practice) is an innovative program which combines practical legal training with specialist postgraduate subjects in areas related to legal practice. The specialist areas for this Masters are Alternative Dispute Resolution and Advocacy. It comprises 4 components:
- The PLT
- Advanced Legal Research and Writing
- Three postgraduate subjects, including two from the areas of advocacy or alternative dispute resolution
- One individual directed research project (equivalent to one postgraduate subject) within an area covered by the PLT
Career Outcomes
This program is a professional postgraduate qualification that entitles law graduate to be admitted as solicitors in Queensland or NSW.
