Financial Support for Citizens of Canada

Student Loan Estimator

The student loan estimator at www.canlearn.ca will give you an idea of how much you may be eligible for.

Canada Student Loans provide up to 60% of a full-time student’s assessed need, up to a maximum $165 per week of study. Need assessment may differ between federal and provincial loans.

Maintaining the Interest-free Status of your Loan

Submit an Enrolment Confirmation form (Schedule 2) to the NSLSC each year within 6 months of the end of your previous study period. This will ensure your Student Loan remains interest-free during study.
