Requirements for Study Abroad Students

Your home institution may agree to continue to certify your financial aid whilst you are studying at Bond University. However, you will need to direct your home financial aid office to send a Consortium Agreement for Bond University to sign. This agreement allows Bond to advise your home school of your tuition and costs of living for your study period with us.

You must also provide a letter from your home university confirming that you will receive credit for the study you undertake at Bond University.

Should your home school decline to certify your financial aid whilst you are studying abroad, Bond University may certify you for a private loan.  You need to have your home school write a letter stating that they will not certify any financial aid whilst you are at the host school.  This letter must be sent to Bond University, Financial Aid Officer, Office of Student Administration, Gold Coast 4229, Queensland, Australia.

The International Education Finance Corporation (IEFC) has released a loan product for Study Abroad students that allows students to borrow up to their cost of attendance.
