English language requirements
Students must satisfy the individual academic requirements for the course they wish to study by providing formal documentary evidence of their English proficiency for direct entry as follows:
- If your IELTS score is 7.0 and Writing and Speaking bands are 7.0, Listening and Reading bands are 6.5, or if your TOEFL score is 627 (TWE 5 – CBT 263), you will gain direct entry to Bond University programs in the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine.
- If your IELTS score is 6.5 and Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking bands are 6.0, or if your TOEFL score is 570 (TWE 5 – CBT 230), you can gain direct entry to Bond University programs in the Faculties of Business and Information Technology, Law and Humanities and Social Sciences.
- If your IELTS score is 6.0 and Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking bands are 6.0, or if your TOEFL score is 550 (TWE 5 – CBT 213), entry to some Bond University programs is possible on a conditional basis, with the undertaking that specified English language subjects are completed.
- If your IELTS score is 6.0 or below and Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking bands are below 6.0, or if your TOEFL score is below 550 (CBT below 213), you qualify for entry to Bond University’s English Language Institute (BUELI)
The University requires an original copy of the TOEFL/IELTS results to be forwarded as part of the application process.
Students who do not achieve the above scores may still be considered on a conditional basis.
