Research interests

The majority of my research has investigated emotion and person perception processes. I have conducted a number of studies investigating how social information such as a person’s race, age, and sex influences how we can read their emotional expressions or recognise their face. I have also contributed to projects related to mental health, health decision making, and sustainable behaviours. I am collaborating on two small grants investigating the impact of natural hazards and climate change on the mental health of young Australians.
