Living-Expense Bursaries

About the Scholarship

Bond University offers undergraduate and postgraduate students from around the world with an opportunity to apply for a Living-Expense Bursary. This is a cash bursary of $5,000 given during a student's first semester of study at Bond University. These bursaries are awarded to applicants with strong academic achievements as well as community involvement, and extra-curricular achievements.

  • $5,000.00 cash bursaries are awarded to domestic and international students in their first semester of studies at Bond University.
Availability

Living-Expense Bursaries are available to commencing students in any of Bond’s three semesters. Please note: These bursaries are yet to be confirmed for 2013.

Eligibility
  • Available to undergraduate and postgraduate students, from Australia and overseas
  • Outstanding academic performance throughout last two years at High School, and/or in tertiary studies
  • Demonstrated achievements/commitment in Community Service, Leadership and Entrepreneurship
  • Applicants must meet the prerequisites and the admissions entry standard for their chosen degree.
  • Please note, this bursary will not be awarded in conjunction with any other academic scholarship
     
Selection Criteria

Individual applications will be assessed for entry into Bond University and applications will be assessed against our criteria. Students must meet ALL eligibility points stated in order to apply for a Living-Expense Bursary.

PLEASE NOTE: This bursary is not means-tested and students are not required to provide any financial documents with their application.

Application Submission

Students wishing to apply for a Living-Expense Bursary should contact their Regional Manager (for Australian Students) or International Regional Manager (for International Students), who will discuss their eligibility for this bursary. Applicants must meet all criterion listed, and will be asked to provide evidence to support their application proving their academic achievements and extra-curricular involvement. Applications will close 5 weeks before the start of semester for domestic and international applicants.

Please note: Applications for the Living-Expense Bursaries are not an application to study at Bond University. Applicants must ensure they complete a Bond University Application Form to be assessed for entry into chosen programs and to study at Bond.
