Preparing to study at Bond

Make the transition to Bond a smooth one by getting prepared for your studies ahead of time. There are so many things that go into starting a new chapter, whether you’re a Gold Coast local or are joining us from interstate or overseas. Follow this handy next-steps checklist to ensure you’re ready to go when it’s time to start your very first semester.

Next steps for all new Bondies

Getting enrolled

Here at Bond, we make enrolling in your subjects and classes a simple process that’s complete in just three steps. You’ll need to enrol at the beginning of each semester using your program structure and sequence as a guide for which subjects to take.

New students can begin the enrolment process once they have accepted their offer and lined up payment of their tuition fees (either directly or deferred via FEE-HELP). You can change your enrolment until the census date in Week 4 of the semester.

Head to our enrolment guide for a more detailed look at enrolling at Bond, complete with video tutorials.

Get started with your enrolment

  • View your program structure and sequence here or via eStudent, under Enrolment Tools. If you have electives, use the Subject Search tool to select what appeals to you. Each subject will have a detailed description for you to refer to.

  • Add subjects to your Study Planner and get enrolled via the Enrolments tab in eStudent. Select your subjects, tick the check box, and then the Enrol button. Be sure to check your enrolment confirmation as a final step. You may also need to update your emergency contact details to successfully complete your enrolment.

  • From the Classes tab in eStudent, you can then register in your specific classes to fit your timetable. Each class will have a note about its delivery (multi-modal, on-campus or remote). Click the green plus sign to register in a class. Once complete, that class will show a green tick.
