Bachelor of Health Sciences

Duration: 2 Years Full-Time; Flexible Part-Time Available

Description

The Bachelor of Health Sciences is a generalist degree that allows students to undertake introductory studies across various specialist areas. The degree offers a broad range of subjects (compared to specialist science programs) making it an excellent option for students who wish to explore a range of health science disciplines and is an ideal pathway to specialist programs. The Bachelor of Health Sciences is also an excellent option for students who did not complete science or maths subjects during high school but are interested in pursuing a career in science.

Work Experience & Internships

Students enrolled in a Bachelor of Health Sciences are eligible to undertake the elective subject Internship in Health Sciences (HLSC13-750). This industry experience subject is for Academic Credit and involves students gaining on-the-job practical experience within an organisation relevant to their studies.

Professional Outcomes

Graduates of the Bachelor of Health Sciences will be ideally positioned to undertake specialist postgraduate studies or seek graduate employment.
