Research within the School of Business

Research is a key focus within the School of Business and this is demonstrated by the results of the recent Excellence in Research for Australia report released in 2011.

The Faculty of Business achieved above world standing for research in the research sub-category of Business and Management. In addition, in the Economics field, we were ranked as world standard. These are key research areas within the School of Business.

These research results are a testament to the extensive and varied research interests of our academic staff and our three research centres; the Centre for Leadership Studies, the Globalisation and Development Centre, and the Australian Centre for Family Business.

The School of Business also has a focus on encouraging higher degree research students. Currently they are studying a wide variety of research topics in fields such as management, family business, marketing and finance. Find out more about the research interests of our students.
