Anatomy and Histology Lab The Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine opened the purpose-built Anatomy Laboratory in 2010. The laboratory is used extensively by Biomedical Science and Medicine students as well as Forensic Science students studying anthropology and osteology. Students are encouraged to use the laboratory outside of scheduled class times to enhance learning and refine skills. State-of-the-art equipment The laboratory is fitted to handle human cadaveric material and includes other essential resources including: - An extensive collection of modern anatomical models
- Forensic anthropological specimens
- 50 student microscopes
In addition, the laboratory is equipped with a microscope fitted with a high quality digital camera dedicated to displaying microscopic images to the whole class, enhancing the learning of all students. Image Gallery
