Faculty of Law

Welcome to Bond Law

Professor Duncan Bentley

Welcome to Bond University’s Faculty of Law.

Students come to this Law Faculty by choice, and not because it is a family tradition, cheaper, or the closest available. If you are about to choose your Law School this website provides valuable information about our programs, subjects, research centres and staff.

The site also provides external evaluations of what we offer, such as the Graduate Careers Australia surveys which have on nine occasions ranked the Faculty first in student satisfaction. The surveys show that graduates appreciate our small class sizes and individual mentoring and that they have close to 100% success in securing employment.

The judgment of leading law firms and other employers is another external evaluation of our offerings. Legal qualifications now provide an excellent background for employment in areas such as entertainment, sports administration, finance, politics, international relations, information technology, government and community service.
A specific attraction for employers is our Legal Skills program which is integrated into the degree structures. With the state-of-art facilities of the Legal Skills Building, it provides the opportunity to develop attributes that will give you a life-long advantage in your chosen careers.

The law teachers at Bond come from a dozen different countries and Bond law students are drawn from all parts of Australia and many countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and the Pacific. Your legal education will provide you with an international network which, as a Bond alumnus, you will be able to maintain after graduation.

The evidence shows that that there really is a difference at Bond. We believe that our teaching and learning environment, and many other facilities and attributes, will help to bring your ambition to life.
