How do I obtain family discount?

Bond University has a Family Loyalty program where a fee discount may be offered to students in the same immediate family who are studying at Bond University. To apply for Family Member Discount you need to complete the Application for Family Member Discount form and hand it in to the Office of Student Administration. The form contains more information about the criteria for obtaining the discount.

How do I book a room at the university?

Students are able to book teaching rooms to support their academic pursuits. A Request for Student use of Room form needs to be completed and handed in to the Office of Student Administration. Information such as the date and time requested and the number of people using the room must be completed. The student filling out the request form takes full responsibility for the condition of all equipment in the room that is used. Teaching rooms are not to be used for personal study or social activities.

What do I do if I am sick and can’t sit an examination?

A student can apply for a deferred examination as long as the Confidential Application for Deferred Examination(s) form is completed and handed in to the Office of Student Administration no later than 2 days after the date of the examination. An original medical certificate and/or a letter is required for the School/Faculty to approve a deferred examination. If a deferred exam is granted a timetable will be posted to the student in the same week as results are released.

How do I know if I am eligible to graduate?

The School/Faculty Academic Adviser can advise you if you will be eligible to graduate at the end of a semester, once the results are released.

How do I put my name down for graduation?

A Graduation Details form needs to be completed, this form is available on the Bond University website or at the Office of Student Administration. If you change your mind about attending/not attending the graduation ceremony you must advise the Office of Student Administration of the change as soon as possible.
